Barkat Events Management is a full-service event management and production company founded in Moncton, New Brunswick, with a vision to create memorable, meaningful and professionally executed experiences across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
Our Story
A vision that began with $155.
Barkat Events began with a vision in 2019 and started its journey with just $155.
The name Barkat has a special family meaning. Founder Uneet Singh was often described by his grandfather as his “lucky charm” — someone who brought Barkat, meaning blessings, prosperity and abundance, into the family.
That idea became the foundation of the company: to bring prosperity, blessings and success to every celebration we are trusted to create.
Today, Barkat Events has been part of 600+ celebrations and events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions welcoming 2,000+ guests.
From weddings and corporate events to cultural celebrations, concerts, festivals and large-scale productions, we bring together event planning, décor, entertainment, production, media and marketing under one roof.

Uneet Singh
Founder & Director
With 7+ years of experience in hospitality and events, Uneet Singh brings together a strong background in hotel operations, guest experience, event management and leadership.
His professional experience includes working with internationally recognized hospitality brands such as Marriott, Hyatt, Fairmont, Choice Hotels and IHG, along with senior hotel leadership experience.
